We are the Church of Scotland parish church serving the communities of Caskieberran,Tanshall,Newcastle and Macedonia, in west Glenrothes, Fife.
The congregation was established in 1965, initially meeting in Glenwood High School. We have had our own church building on Tanshall Road East since 1970. The congregation celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015 with a number of events culminating in a service of thanksgiving in September where the preacher was the then Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, Right Rev Angus Morrison.
The church family is made up of people from all over Glenrothes (and further afield). Our weekly service is at 10.30am on a Sunday when we seek to make everyone welcome. There are special activities for our younger members during the first part of the service. There is also a crêche for those under the age of 3. On the first Sunday of the month we hold a Family Service when everyone, young and old, is together.
We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion quarterly on the last Sunday of the months February, May, August and November. We hold special services at Easter and Christmas, details of these can be found on our calendar.
